FOUND SPACE

New Yorkers have inherently been in the forefront of the “small space” movement and have always been looking for ways to enlarge and improve their living conditions.
We have successfully converted “storage” cellars and basements into inviting living spaces and unused rooftops into outside recreation decks. Among others; the Prospect Park West, 8th Avenue and Carroll Street projects have new cellar / basement living spaces and recreational roof decks.
The Prospect Park West project connected an unused basement to the first floor unit with a new internal stair. We legalized the basement which allowed for a Master bedroom Suite and an additional bedroom that would not have been possible on the first floor. This effectively doubled the square footage of the unit.
The Bedford Avenue development converted an un-finished, unused basement into a separate 2-bedroom apartment; increasing both the livable space and the value of the building.
